Recently, multiple consecutive earthquakes have occurred in the Awash Fentale area of the Oromia Region in Ethiopia, raising concerns among local residents and those in the coffee industry. This area is not only close to the capital, Addis Ababa, but also adjacent to the important coffee-producing region of Harar, and the earthquakes may affect the soil and coffee yields. At the same time, the risk of damage to road infrastructure, combined with port congestion caused by the Red Sea crisis, may further disrupt Ethiopia's coffee export transportation.
